King of Kings: The Battle for Kings Mountain

This event is a dramatic, live-performance about the Battle of Kings Mountain, with professional actors, reenactors and living historians, special effects and exciting stage combat, the epic history that shaped America will be brought back to life. The performance of King of Kings: The Battle for Kings Mountain has a company of 40 performers, features live animals, historic music, replica weaponry and authentic military uniforms from the American Revolution. The entire battle is recreated on the Liberty Falls Amphitheater stage as well as the entire story that led people from all over the Carolina Backcountry to leave their homes and confront the British Army.

On Friday, March 27th, and Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd there will be a living history encampment at Patriots Park from 12pm-5pm. With living historians, real historican artifacts and replicas, and historical weaponry firing demonstrations throughout the day.
